  Lewis County Economic Development Council
  Both sites are Joomla developed sites with some great features.  The Chamber of Commerce site is going to be revealed to the directors on January 16, 2007, where they will be able to decide how to sell advertising space on the site to the membership.  Keep watching!
   
• Elective Cesarean
  This site was converted from a Mambo site to a Joomla site when the owner moved from the UK to the US.  Be sure to go to the site to see how her surveys are working.  You will have to register in order to see the whole site, which was the intent of the site in the first place.  Once you have taken the survey, you will be registered, and then will have full access to the site.
   
• Buffalo River Review
  A Joomla site that has Virtuemart integrated as the shopping cart with great success.  The newspaper accepts advertising and subscriptions over the internet using their own merchant account.  No need for an additional merchant account when you already have one!  A magazine plug-in component has been added for more versatility on the homepage.
   
• The Spitzer Firm
  The Spitzer Law Firm in Hohenwald, Tennessee, is a general practice law firm that uses Joomla ease with a fluid template. 
   
• McDonalds Funeral Home
  Joomla was used to create this content management system website for a funeral home who wanted the ability to keep their own site current quickly and easily for an extremely time-sensitive business.  A calendar and guestbook feature were added after the initial design phase was approved, and other features will be added soon.
   
• Best Power Intl LLC
  Mario Monesterio is a renewable energy guru in Minnesota who is extremely knowledgeable in his field.  This is a good example of a Joomla site that is starting small, with lots of room to grow, adding video testimonials soon, and eventually a shopping cart.
   
• Creative Corrections
  This website is using two domain names, www.creativecorrecitons.com and www.correctionalexperts.com which allows the owner to retain goodwill and name recognition of the domains he combined into one for business reasons.  Creative Corrections is a consulting business for corrections experts.
   
• Perry County, Tennessee
  This is the official website for the Perry County Chamber of Commerce, and is a Content Management System website in Joomla!  Each person who has responsibility for a given section can make their own modifications on the website online, without need for a web designer.  The Mayor loves it!  It is a community effort, and is a living document.  Be sure to visit it to see some of the add-ins possible within Joomla!
   
• Mathis Realty
  Mathis Realty has been in Perry County for several generations.  This website was developed by using Open Realty software, which once configured, allows the owner to completely control their listings.  You can add multiple pictures of a listing, including descriptions with each picture.  Easy to learn and maintain.  Easily add Virtual Tours to a listing!
   
• Ruth's Designs
  The website is an eCommerce site, complete with a Zen Cart shopping cart tied in with Paypal and their own credit card merchant account.  Ruth designs her own creations for fraternal organizations for both men and women, and is bringing her creations to the web.  The design of the administrative backend is much like what was done for Touch of Elegance, easy to use and maintain by the owner.
   
• Perry County Library, Tennessee
  As a volunteer with the Friends of the Library, I have donated my time and efforts to the library by designing and implementing their own website.  Please visit the website, and tell the ladies where you found them!  This is a Joomla webdesign, and as such the librarians themselves are able to update their events calendar and change the ticker tape on the homepage.
   
• Shelton Bissell
  Shelton is a Country Gospel Saxophonist, and his website uses Paypal for the shopping cart.   The entire site was converted to a Joomla site, complete with an audio player for the music samples!
